About The Department

About The Role
As the Business Support Officer, you will:
* Coordinate and assist with the provision of services across administrative, human resources, and financial management functions.
* Resolve issues and assist in implementing initiatives, policies, processes, and systems for effective administration of the Regional Operations and Corporate Governance Team.
Responsibilities Include
* Provide operational advice and support related to administrative, human resource, and financial services.
* Ensure systems are developed, implemented, and maintained.
* Understand legislative frameworks, acts, awards, directives, and departmental policies for HR and financial management.
* Create and manage purchase orders, accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, corporate card management, and accounts reconciliation.
* Manage HR, financial, and administrative documents, including report preparation.
* Undertake financial analysis and planning to support the Nominated Supervisor.
* Support recruitment and selection processes and maintain HR materials.
* Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all activities and documents.
* Utilise and maintain tools supporting staffing, learning, development, and recruitment processes.
* Applicants with knowledge of HR and Financial Operations within the department are advantageous.
