Your Role
As a
Support Worker at Adele House
, you will be at the heart of delivering vital support to residents, guiding them through entry assessments and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the site.
You'll collaborate closely with our AOD casework, inclusion, and counselling teams to provide
holistic,
person-centered care
, ensuring residents receive the best possible support on their journey to recovery.
Your Responsibility
Providing support to clients in a respectful, non-judgmental, and inclusive manner.
Helping clients implement their case plans and connect to essential services.
Contributing to the safety and well-being of staff, clients, and visitors by upholding WHS and risk management practices.
Facilitating client activities, maintaining accommodation standards, and supporting daily operations.
Attending regular team meetings and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
You Will Need
Minimum Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience (or currently pursuing tertiary studies).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
A team player with the ability to work independently.
Experience in crisis management, with sound judgment in emergency situations.
Strong computer literacy, particularly in data collection systems.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including day, afternoon and sleepover shifts.
