ASX Listed Highcom Holdings Limited, is hiring a full-time permanent Group Financial Controller. The role could be based in either Canberra or Sydney, with frequent travel to the Canberra headquarters.
Highcom operates in the defence, law enforcement and first-responders sectors, protecting front line serving officers with body armor, shields, helmets and associated products. The company also supports the Australian Department of Defence with uncrewed aerial surveillance aircraft. The Australian operation consists of the technology business unit and group corporate support function. The US operation is the manufacturing arm of Highcom and supports global customers in the purchase of body armor and associated products.
The Role
The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for the co-ordination of all finance activities including group consolidated reporting, budgeting, cashflow, ASX statutory reporting, tax compliance and annual audit. The role is supported by the Australian and US finance teams and reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer.
Candidates with the following skill set are highly encouraged to apply for the role and should outline in summary (via their cover letter) their immediate experience with the following requirements:
* Group Financial Control within a manufacturing or similar environment
* Consolidated reporting experience
* ASX Listed experience
* Cross border transactions and transfer pricing
* Rates review and cost build up within a manufacturing or similar environment
* ERP Systems including Netsuite and Workday
Must be Canberra, ACT or Sydney NSW based.
