About the Role As Head Barista you will play an integral role in providing exceptional and efficient customer service to our patrons and regulars, alongside a passion for all things coffee Your responsibilities will include: Train new baristas in proper coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and store policies. Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure the team provides excellent customer service during peak hours. Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring the café is always inviting. Foster a customer-focused culture by encouraging staff to deliver high-quality service. Handle cash registers and ensure accurate transactions. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for coffee and is friendly & approachable. You will display the following qualities: Ability to work well under pressure 3 years of experience in a café or hospitality environment as a barista preferred. Excellent communication and a team player. Understanding of operating and adjusting a coffee machine/grinder as required. Knowledge around food handling and safety.
