Recreation Works Labourer Operator
The Opportunity
We have several opportunities in our Recreation Works team as Recreation Works Labourer Operators.
Our Recreation Works Labourer Operators undertake a variety of general garden labouring duties, operate mowing equipment (including tractors), drive/operate various trucks and assist in the maintenance, cleaning and renewal of Council's recreation and street infrastructure. They play a pivotal part in working alongside various members of the Recreational Team and work hard to upkeep our Recreational spaces for the benefit of our community.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess knowledge and experience in:
* General garden labouring maintenance works including but not limited to hand weeding, mulching, pressure cleanin
* Operation of horticulture plant and equipment, including but not limited to ride-on mowers, zero turn mowers and tractors
* Operation of ground maintenance tools such as whipper snippers and hedge trimmers
You will have strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work productively as a team member.
These roles are visible to our community members.
To be considered for the role, a current driver's licence and WHS General Construction Induction (White Card)
is essential.
Having the following licences/tickets is not essential, but would be highly regarded:
* Traffic Control
* MR Driver's Licence
Benefits
These are permanent full-time roles, working a Monday-Friday roster, 76 hours per fortnight with a salary range of $ $32.22 per hour + monthly RDO + allowances + 12% p.a. superannuation.
