Protect and Care for Vulnerable Children
We are seeking a skilled Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker to join our team. This rewarding role involves working with families to ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of children.
In this challenging yet fulfilling position, you will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people to develop safe and loving homes. Your expertise in complex problem solving and collaboration with other agencies will be invaluable in addressing safety and well-being concerns.
As an Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker, you will be responsible for managing cases and situations, including working with high needs and high-risk clients and their families. You will also participate in individual and group supervision to ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date.

The successful candidate will have:
* A relevant diploma or degree qualification, or at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
* The ability to build positive working relationships, supported by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A valid driver's licence and a paid working with children clearance number.
* Documented verification of Aboriginality, confirming that you are an Aboriginal person of Aboriginal descent and that you identify as being Aboriginal.
