As a Speech Pathologist, you will be working in our Weipa office. Our practice is well-established and offers NDIS and Allied Health services. We deliver services in regional, rural and remote locations of Far North Queensland, with office locations in Cairns, Weipa, and Thursday Island. Our commitment to increasing and improving Allied Health services in the Western Cape Region is unwavering.
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist who can work collaboratively with NDIS participants, private clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centered services that enhance participation and independence. You will have experience in delivering speech pathology services within a disability sector context, and be able to develop individualised strategies and clinical management plans that are responsive to the person's needs and goals.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A current AHPRA Registration
* A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Speech Pathologist
* Criminal History Check
* Yellow Card
* Blue Card
* A First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete
* A current Australian Driver's License
* Cultural Awareness Training or willingness to participate
This role is permanent, full-time and does not require after-hours work. The salary for this position is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
About Weipa: Weipa is a coastal community located on Albatross Bay on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula. It has a population of approximately 4,000 people and is about 800km from Cairns. Weipa township contains most of the facilities and conveniences of modern living, making it an ideal base to explore the surrounding area.
