About the Role:
ComfortStyle is seeking a Store Person / Delivery Driver to join our Margaret River team on a casual basis. We are looking for someone available to support our local delivery schedule operating Tuesday - Friday with varied hours. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are delivered to customers with care and precision, while also assisting with in-store logistics, furniture assembly and inventory management. The position is a physically demanding role combined with customer interaction and teamwork in a dynamic retail environment.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
* Unloading and inspecting weekly truck deliveries from Perth to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Coordinating and delivering furniture to customers while providing exceptional service.
* Assembling furniture with attention to detail and care.
* Maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom.
* Safely lifting, moving, and arranging furniture as needed using appropriate equipment
* Assisting with store merchandising and general warehouse tasks.
* Working closely with the team to maintain accuracy, high service standards, and compliance with OH&S policies.
What we're looking for:
* Current 'C' class Driver's License (unrestricted and good driver history)
* Previous truck/delivery driving experience
* Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Experience in delivery of goods
* Good level of physical fitness
* Understanding of correct manual handling procedures, and a positive attitude towards safety
* Basic knowledge of tools is highly advantageous
* Respectable personal presentation and hygiene
