About the role
JC Maintenance & Contracting PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled gardener to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a full-time position, with immediate start for the right person. As a maintenance gardener, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient upkeep of our client properties.
What you'll be doing
* Lawn mowing, whipper snipping, gardening, pruning, weeding and weed spraying
* Carrying out general maintenance and property improvements
* Assisting tradespeople with larger landscaping projects, providing additional hands and support
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
* Responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
* Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance activities
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a gardening, lawn care and property maintenance
* Good practical skills and the ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks
* Ability to work independently
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
* Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work, willing to take on a range of tasks as needed
* A valid driver's licence
* WWVP and National police check mandatory
