About the Role:
ThePrincipal Communications and Content Advisor is responsible fordriving and delivering on a range of complex high-profilecommunications and engagement outcomes across the department. Therole ensures that well planned and implemented communicationsstrategies achieve strategic business objectives, and stakeholdersare appropriately engaged in matters that interest or affect them.The Principal Communications and Content Advisor is responsible forongoing strategic leadership and project management of one or moreof DEW’s state-wide communications channels, with a strongemphasis on DEW’s various websites and social media channels.The Principal Communications and Content Advisor will ensureDEW’s business is well represented, using editorialjudgement, evaluations, metrics and high-quality editing skills tohelp the Branch deliver timely, engagingcontent.

Contract:
Contract for up to 30 June 2025.
DesirableQualifications:
A qualification in communicationsor a related discipline is desirable.
Special Conditions:
8. May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
9. May be required to work outside of normal hours, including on weekends.
10. Intrastate and interstate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.
11. This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.
Remuneration:
ASO7 $106,512 min - $115,137 max p.a.
