This position sits within the Capacity and Therapy Services business unit at ConnectAbility, encompassing Early Links, delivering early, meaningful intervention for children, young adults, adults and families.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy team on a Full Time basis (Part Time will be considered). This role may be based at any of our office locations including Maitland, Ashtonfield, Kurri Kurri or Muswellbrook.
This is an opportunity to develop or continue providing fulfilling therapy to children in need, amongst a dedicated team. We have a diverse caseload made up of all age groups across the paediatric and young adult spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing evidence‐based occupational therapy intervention and comprehensive assessments in line with professional and ethical guidelines.
* Using a holistic, trauma‐informed, client‐centred approach when working closely with families, carers, teachers and other health professionals to support clients.
* Providing consultancy support and working collaboratively with members of the client's team and other service provider stakeholders involved in their support network.
* Contributing to organisational goals and working within a large team of allied health professionals.
* Completing progress notes and relevant reports.
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients, reporting any child protection or WHS concerns.

Essential Requirements
* Tertiary Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Current driver's licence
* Comprehensive vehicle insurance and registrationWillingness to obtain prior to commencement:
o Working with Children Check (paid employment)
o NDIS Worker Screening Check
o NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
o First Aid & CPR certification
