Claims Advisor
As a claims advisor, you will manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims. This role offers the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders, develop strong relationships with providers, and collaborate with third-party providers to support the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims.
* Provide timely updates and resolution of claims in line with service level agreements (SLA).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, brokers, and third-party providers.
* Ensure compliance with relevant workers' compensation legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records, diarize claims for follow-up, and proactively manage claims.
What You'll Bring:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage your claims portfolio.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using databases.
* A solid understanding of workers' compensation legislation and industry processes.
* Experience in working with third-party providers, legal panel providers, and corporate clients.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to direct and work well with internal and external teams.
