At Ballarat SDC, you will work with EY project teams across Australia to support large-scale client engagements. This is a great opportunity to achieve career advancement at a Global organization while living regionally.The Service Delivery Pod Leader will provide a range of financial administration services to the engagement, providing leadership and guidance to Service Delivery Analyst, managing daily workflow allocation, and acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and complex queries.Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.Your key responsibilitiesPerforming daily AP/AR tasks, including invoice processing, payment allocations, and vendor account reconciliation, ensuring compliance with internal controls.Supporting team workflows by managing task allocations and maintaining data accuracy.Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk issues related to AP/AR, including discrepancies, vendor disputes, or policy exceptions.Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering a high-performance culture that supports continuous learning, accountability, and alignment with EY’s core values.Contributing to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to the Service Delivery Manager.What we look forStrong working knowledge of end-to-end AP/AR processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and relevant financial systems.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering an engaged and collaborative team culture.Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a structured, detail-focused approach to managing high volumes of work and competing priorities.Strong stakeholder communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset, with a desire to make a meaningful impact and drive better ways of working.Previous experience operating in a team leader/supervisor capacity would be beneficial.What we offer youAt EY, we’ll fuel you and your extraordinary talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams.
