Sydney Ancillary Areas Permanent Our client is a boutique debt markets trading intermediary focused on Fixed Income and Money Market dealing for Institutional and Semi Government clients. They are seeking an additional junior member for their team to help manage their clients investing in the money markets. We are seeking proactive, ambitious, and personable recent graduates, or candidates with around 3 years’ experience pursuing a career as a front office Money Market Dealer. Ideal applicants will have 0.5 – 2 years’ experience in client services, client account management, or operations – ideally with some understanding or experience in Debt markets (Fixed Income, Money Market, Term Deposits). Please note that to be considered for this position, applicants must have full and indefinite working rights. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be trained in multiple areas of the firm to gain a thorough understanding of the business, with the view they’ll progress up to start dealing and managing their own set of clients. Client Services: providing a specialised client support and guidance, with regards to queries relating to their investments. Client Onboarding/AML: Onboarding of new clients, and maintenance of existing clients records in accordance with the relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies and procedures. Performing any day to day functions including the monitoring of any client requests via email/phone and resolution of queries within SLA’s. Compliance – operating the business in compliance with regulations, policies and service agreements. Participation in any internal business projects and initiatives as both a subject matter expert and contributor to ideas and change processes. Requirements: Attained degree in Commerce field required. Experience profile ranging between fresh graduates and 2 years’ experience, ideally in client services/client account management. Significant degree of understanding and/or experience in money markets and broader debt markets dynamics, workings, and regulatory standards will be looked upon highly favourably. Strong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and manage several initiatives simultaneously. Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and CRM solutions desirable. Professional communication and personal skills are a must; very strong written and verbal communication with a high level of attention to detail.
