The Company:This world-class hospitality group located in the Strathbogie Ranges is known for crafting and delivering a range of corporate and social events. Known for it's wine and sensational function venue based in this region, they are looking for a Sales and Events Manager to join their team permanently.
Position Terms:
- Full time, Permanent Role
- Working 5 days in the venue
- Salary: $80K - $90K plus super plus bonus
The Role:The Sales & Events Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the Hospitality Group's corporate function and events business. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, prospecting to corporate clients, building relationships with corporate clients and ensuring the successful execution of events that reflect the high standards of the Group.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to attract corporate clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in target companies.
- Identify and present trends and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives for corporate functions and events.
- Coordinate with the events team to ensure the seamless execution of events, from planning to completion.
- Oversee the development of event proposals, presentations and contracts.
- Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards, reflecting the Group's brand.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting corporate clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to promote the Group's corporate offerings.
- Develop partnerships with industry associations and other relevant organisations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients.
- Gather and analyse client feedback to continuously improve offerings and service.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
The Candidate:The successful candidate will have experience working within a Venue or Hospitality Group in a Sales and/or Event Coordination role. Strong stills in identifying & prospecting opportunities, acquiring new clients, and building and maintaining solid relationships with clients are essential for this role.
- Strong ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Proven experience in sales and revenue generation.
- Ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Strong event management skills.
- Strong communication skills, including written, oral and interpersonal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work from the venue 5 days a week, located in the Strathbogie Ranges (approx. 150km north-east of Melbourne).
