As part of their continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and new business opportunities across the region.
The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and converting new business opportunities across corporate clients throughout the region. You will build and manage a pipeline of prospects, develop strong relationships with stakeholders, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
You will have autonomy in your role, the opportunity to shape regional growth strategies, and a clear pathway to make a measurable impact on the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business opportunities across the Mackay region and beyond
* Develop and execute effective business development strategies and sales plans from day one
* Identify prospective clients, conduct market research, and uncover opportunities aligned with company goals
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with decision makers and stakeholders
* Lead contract negotiations, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals
* Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and support customer onboarding
* Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and community engagements to increase brand presence
* Track sales activity, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasts
* Provide insights and market feedback to inform product/service enhancements and strategic planning
About You
* Proven experience in business development and sales
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive strategic growth
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Ability to travel within the region and engage with clients face-to-face
* Experience in Mackay or regional markets is highly desirable
