As the BDM for Kidde ANZ, you will be instrumental in expanding our market share by identifying and closing new business opportunities across key verticals:

* Key Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Mining, Data Centres, Healthcare, and large-scale Infrastructure projects.
* Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with fire contractors, consultants, OEMs, and key decision-makers to position our products as the preferred solution.
* Product Expertise: Champion and promote Kidde's industry-leading portfolio, including clean agent systems, aerosol, inert gas suppression, and intelligent fire detection panels and detectors.
* Technical Collaboration: Partner with our engineering and technical teams to ensure clients receive compliant, high-performance, and technically sound fire protection solutions.
* Sales Execution: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, technical briefings, and lead complex commercial negotiations through the tendering process.
* Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes (including AS/NZS standards), and competitor activity to inform and shape your strategy.
* Goals: Meet or exceed annual sales targets and KPIs, contributing directly to our national business success.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in technical sales:

* Experience: Minimum 5+ years in business development, technical sales, or account management within the fire protection or related building services industry.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., clean agents, inert gas, panels). Experience with Kidde or similar technical product lines is highly regarded.
* Compliance: Familiarity with AS/NZS fire safety codes, building regulations, and compliance requirements.
* New Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing new business channels and closing complex, large-scale deals.
* Skills: High technical aptitude, ability to understand system design and specifications, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and professional presentation skills.
* Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and effective working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
