MEX Maintenance Software is an Australian-made CMMS based in Brisbane. For over 30 years, MEX has helped asset-intensive businesses manage maintenance, assets, and inventory efficiently. Now part of the TMA Systems global portfolio, MEX is entering an exciting growth phase with the release of MEX 16 - a next-generation cloud-based solution.
We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused Implementation Consultant to join our Consulting Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on guiding customers through software adoption, solving real business problems, and helping them get maximum value from their MEX system.
Subject Matter Expert:
You will be the go-to expert for your customers on all things MEX. That means deeply understanding the product, across both MEX 15 and MEX 16 - and being able to apply that knowledge confidently to diverse industries and operational environments. Customers look to you for guidance, and you need to earn and maintain that trust through product mastery.
Building As We Grow - This role suits a self-starter
We're honest about where we are: MEX is in a period of active evolution. Our consulting processes and delivery frameworks are being defined and refined as we scale with MEX 16. This is a genuine opportunity for the right person to help shape how we do things, but it requires someone who is comfortable learning quickly, operating without a complete playbook, and contributing to building one. If you do your best work when everything is figured out, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're energised by owning your outcomes and building something meaningful, it might be exactly right.
About the Role
As an Implementation Consultant, you'll lead customers through the full implementation lifecycle from discovery and configuration to training and go-live. You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping businesses align MEX with their operational needs and build best practices for maintenance management.
You will:
* Rapidly learn and master the MEX product suite (V15 and V16) to become a confident subject matter expert for customers and internally
* Lead customers through the full implementation lifecycle, discovery, configuration, training, and go-live
* Act as a trusted advisor, helping businesses align MEX with their operational needs and build maintenance best practices
* Lead online and face-to‐face training sessions for users at all levels across diverse industries
* Facilitate regular check‐ins and status meetings to track progress and resolve issues
* Guide customers through data migration and system setup to ensure a smooth go‐live
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, driving adoption and satisfaction
* Contribute to improving training materials and product documentation
* Identify and document process improvements as our delivery model matures
Skills and Experience
Required:
* 2+ years' experience in software implementation, consulting, or training (preferably CMMS or ERP systems).
* Strong understanding of maintenance, facilities, or asset management workflows.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
* High attention to detail, organisational skills, and ownership of deliverables.
* Comfortable managing multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business (or equivalent practical experience).
* Experience with MEX, TMA, or similar CMMS solutions.
* Experience facilitating workshops and customer onboarding projects.
* Proficient with SQL, report writing, and general software administration.
* Track record of contributing to process development or team documentation.
What We Offer
* Global platform, Australian roots - work on a product with 30 years of history and a growing global presence through TMA Systems
* Real variety, exposure to a wide range of industries and customer environments
* Genuine influence, as a growing team, your ideas and contributions will shape how we work, not just what you deliver
