About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team on a casual basis.
You will be responsible for maintaining the park grounds, landscaped areas, gardens and shared facilities, as well as assisting with general maintenance across the holiday village. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
You will be required to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a small park team. A friendly and helpful communication style is important, as you will occasionally interact with guests staying in the park.
This role offers variety and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of a welcoming holiday park environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping or general property maintenance. Experience within a holiday park, caravan park or similar accommodation environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
The successful applicant will require:
* A current Driver's Licence.
Experience operating equipment such as:
* ride-on mowers,
* hedge trimmers,
* whipper snippers,
* chainsaws, and
* high-powered hand tools.
* And the ability to undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
You will be self-motivated, reliable, well-presented and take pride in maintaining high standards across the park.
Remuneration
The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
