Working with the reliability team, you will monitor, maintain, repair and improve the oil and grease systems across site to maximize plant life and availability. This is a residentially based position in Mount Isa working a 4 on 4 off 4 on 2 off day shift roster. You may occasionally be required to work additional hours to suit business needs.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Promoting and reinforcing a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.Monitoring, maintaining, repairing and improving the oil and grease systems.Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.You will have the following skillset and attributes:Minimum experience of 3 years within the mining industry is essential.Trade qualification – Fitter (Mechanical) essential.Current manual driver’s license.Experience with lubrication and hydraulic systems - SAG/Ball Mills an advantage.Experience with oil analysis and condition monitoring.Sound computer skills.A demonstrated commitment to safety.A self-motivated attitude and enjoy working in small yet highly productive teams.The ability to adapt to change in duties from day to day.The following tickets will also be highly regarded:Current Forklift ticket.Current Dogger ticket.Current LBG crane ticket.Level 1 qualification in Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA1).For further information, please contact: Leanne Kretschmann via email – leanne.kretschmann@glencore.com.auApplications Close: 8:00 Wednesday 7th May 2025.
