Barista (Full-time) The Beach House At Trinity - Trinity Beach Brewing co Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced barista to join our passionate and dynamic team.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible to serve quality cups of coffee with friendly customer service-ultimately, we are thriving for the best coffee experience
Responsibilities
Daily maintenance schedules of coffee equipment including opening, closing and cleaning procedures.
Able to consistently deliver quality with each and every cup.
Preparation of a variety of coffee beverages, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, ensuring compliance with sanitation procedures.
Effective communication with team members for smooth workflow.
Mentoring of the team ensuring and effective and efficient workflow.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of full-time experience as a Barista in specialty coffee preparation.
Comprehensive understandings in specialty coffee including Origins, Processing Methods, Varietals and Roasting.
Ability to cup and score in accordance with SCA standard.
Knowledge to create brew recipes within factors of Grind Size, Doses, Yield, Brew Time and Temperature.
Current knowledge of coffee culture.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong customer service and problem solving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
