About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher with proven experience teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12, including ATAR courses. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in teaching Year 11 and 12 ATAR Mathematics Applications and the capacity and enthusiasm to broaden their skills into Mathematics Specialist and Mathematics Methods over time.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Years 7–12, covering core curriculum and ATAR courses.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that support student learning and progression.
* Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum and assessment strategies.
* Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
* Progressively expand teaching practice to include Mathematics Specialist and Mathematics Methods.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant qualifications as a Mathematics Teacher within WA and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Demonstrated passion for student success.
* Teaching experience in Years 7–12, with a strong record in ATAR Mathematics.
* Capacity to broaden teaching experience into Mathematics Specialist and Mathematics Methods.
* Current knowledge and understanding of the SCSA WA Curriculum.
* Experience in curriculum differentiation and modifying learning tasks to meet specific educational needs.
* Supportive of the objectives and ethos of an Anglican education.
