Pediatric Occupational Therapist & Paediatric Psychologist
Join to apply for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist & Paediatric Psychologist role at Bendigo Advertiser. Neuro Flourish is recruiting for two full-time/part-time positions and offers hybrid work arrangements in Mayfield West, with outreach to Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Regions. The organisation focuses on neurodiversity-affirming care for children and adolescents, their families, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Occupational Therapist: provide 1:1 clinical supports for clients and families, develop social connection groups, train families and communities in neurodiversity-affirming practice, present CPD training to educators/health professionals or at national conferences, and collaborate daily with an multidisciplinary team.
- Psychologist: provide neurodiversity-affirming supports to empower children and families, promote confidence, independence, and joy in each child’s journey, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in neurodiversity-affirming research projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- OT: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher); AHPRA registration (current and in good standing); current First Aid/CPR; Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (current); valid Australian driver’s licence; robust communication skills; experience training professionals, educators, families; passion for neurodiversity-affirming practice; experience with sensory processing differences; 5+ years’ OT experience.
- Psychologist: Registered, Clinical or Provisional Psychologist; AHPRA registration (current and in good standing); current First Aid/CPR; Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (current); strong communication skills; experience training professionals, educators, families; passion for neurodiversity-affirming practice; experience with various communication methods and sensory processing differences; commitment to collaborative multidisciplinary work; experience and/or interest in neurodiversity-affirming research projects.
Location & Commitment
- Location: Hybrid (Mayfield, NSW; outreach to Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Regions); flexible near-negotiable arrangements.
- Position type: Full-time (38 hours/week) for OT; Part-time minimum 16 hours/week or Full-time for Psychologist; contractor option considered for psychologist.
Salary & Benefits
- OT: $95,000 – $118,560 per year + super (negotiable based on KPIs and experience); flexible working hours; laptop & iPad; paid external supervision; PD budget with annual coverage; up to 4 weeks annual leave and 10 days sick/compassionate leave; Christmas closure with annual/unpaid leave options; full admin support; 4 weeks annual leave; 10 days sick/compassionate leave.
- Psychologist: $95,440 – $124,982 per year + super (full-time); contractor rate negotiable; benefits include paid clinical supervision; flexible hours; part-time or full time options; work with an experienced team.
