Our Dairy Manufacturing and Distribution facility located in the heart of Central Wagga has a permanent full-time opportunity for a collaborative and highly motivated self-starter to join our team in a full time Distribution Operator role.
The successful applicant will be required to work the night shift, midnight to 8am, Sunday to Thursday. This is a secure, permanent position working with an experienced and friendly team in a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities are varied and include;
* Operating a forklift/ vehicle loading and unloading
* Stock rotation
* Order picking
* Inventory counts/ stocktaking
* Documentation and Record keeping
* GMP, Quality, safety & hygiene control
* Meeting line operation targets
* Manual handling/stacking of finished product
* Monitoring and reducing waste.
Key Requirements
* Current LF forklift license is essential.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
* Be highly focused on safety, quality & hygiene compliance.
* Be highly focused on attaining production targets and efficiency.
* Effective communication skills.
* Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative.
* Sound knowledge of Transport Chain of Responsibility principles
* Experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
* Experience working in cold storage is preferred but not essential.
* Physically able to manage order picking and loading requirements.

* Availability to work public holidays as required.
* Ability to work occasional overtime if required.
* Ability to work unsupervised when required.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
