Job Description
Are you a self-motivated tech enthusiast with a passion for broadcasting? Here's your chance to step into the dynamic world of Nine! We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic Broadcast Technology Support Technician to join our vibrant team in North Sydney.
This isn't your average 9-to-5; it's a full-time, rotating shift role (7 days a week) where you'll be at the heart of our operations. You'll be part of a dedicated crew, providing essential technical and operational support for our cutting-edge, sophisticated broadcast systems.
Day to day you will:
* Provide support for Studio Automation systems.
* Support Live Studio Production.
* Maintain Post Production and Non-Linear Editing systems.
* Assist with Digital Asset Management.
* Support Digital News Gathering operations.
* Manage Video Contribution, Distribution, and Encoding.
* Troubleshoot Master Control Facilities.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
* An Engineering Degree, Diploma in Electrical or Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification in the Broadcast or IT industry.
* Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively on your own.
* A flexible approach to working irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays, and various shifts.
