Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, the business supports high-volume warehousing, distribution, and customer pick-up operations.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role involving forklift operations, customer service, order preparation, and regular heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing warehouse environment
* Customer-facing forklift work, including invoice pick-up orders
* Liaise with customers to ensure correct orders are supplied
* Load and unload all types of vehicles
* Ensure correct weight distribution and load capacity when loading trucks
* Package and prepare customer orders
* Restock materials onto racks and manufacturing systems
* Organise deliveries in coordination with the Area Manager
* Liaise with supervisors regarding daily tasks and priorities
* Meet customer ETA requirements
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping
* Report all incidents and accidents promptly
* Adhere to WHS policies, company procedures, and confidentiality requirements
* Complete required documentation, including sick leave forms when applicable

* High level of customer satisfaction
* All assigned tasks completed on time
* Excellent housekeeping standards
* High standard of professionalism and work quality
* Minimal absenteeism where reasonably achievable
About You
* Valid Forklift Licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience
* Proven experience loading and unloading trucks
* Experience handling medium to heavy materials (up to 25kg)
* Strong understanding of load restraint and weight distribution
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good problem-solving skills
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
