Clinical team leader

As the Clinical Care Team Leader, you will coordinate and lead the care team in consultation with the Clinical Care Manager and Facility Manager. You will ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care and, most importantly, a quality lifestyle for our residents. Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing all clinical services in line with Regis process and policy.
2. Advocate the implementation of continuous improvement activities in all aspects of clinical and lifestyle services.
3. Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and on time.
4. Coordinate and support all scheduled audits and clinical indicators completed in line with the schedule.
5. Ensuring resident health records and clinical documentation is relevant and up to date.
6. Ensuring "best practice" medication management guidelines are observed and regularly monitored.

About you

1. As a collaborative and senior member of the operations leadership team, you will possess:
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognized equivalency.
3. Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
4. Previous senior clinical care experience in the health sector with clinical experience in aged care.
5. Sound understanding of care assessment in the aged care sector and use of AN-ACC.
6. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
7. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications.
8. Good working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC funding and aged care standards.

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
