The Role
ABC News is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Production Lead to join our collaborative Regional, Rural & Metro support team. You'll work closely with Editors and content makers, providing tailored support and practical solutions that keep our newsrooms running smoothly and our audiences informed.
The Job
* Lead key administrative functions and drive process improvements for efficient operations.
* Coordinate crew resourcing and ensure out-of-hours coverage, responding to late-notice roster gaps.
* Manage monthly and annual budgets, providing accurate data for financial planning and strategic decisions.
* Oversee financial administration: budget tracking, raising POs, processing invoices, and supporting complex tasks like international travel bookings.
* Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety administration.
* Coordinate onboarding, engagement, and training for employees and contractors.
