Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Pre-Loader to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and efficient pre-loading of vehicles, while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Start shifts promptly at 3pm to ensure timely commencement of operations.
- Perform pre-loading of trucks, ensuring optimal vehicle handling and safety practices.
- Collaborate with forklift operators to load vehicles effectively, focusing on weight distribution and vehicle stability.
- Move vehicles around the yard with precision, obeying all internal traffic systems and safety protocols.
- Manage a fleet that includes both client-owned and subcontractor vehicles, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Complete all required declarations via the gate-to-gate system for every loaded truck, maintaining accurate and comprehensive logs.
Qualifications
- Possession of an open HR license with manual transmission capability.
- Demonstrated physical fitness, capable of handling manual consolidation tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Previous experience in truck loading or a similar logistical role is advantageous.
