The Opportunity
The Patient Administration Manager will be responsible for the management of patient administration services throughout Shepparton Private Hospital.
This is a key leadership position which will see the successful candidate:
Support the opening of the hospital and assist in the hiring of the Administration DepartmentLead the reception, scheduling and clerical teamsEnsure accurate and timely completion of patient admissions, discharges and management of patient out of pocket costsEnsure the appropriate management of patient records and that data is collected, collated and managed in line with site, state and federal legislative requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing coupled with the ability to lead, motivate and develop others to achieve results. You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail and a keen commercial acumen.

Your Skills And Experience
Front office management experience within proven ability to manage a team, ideally within a health care environmentDemonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups/Rosters for a large teamKnowledge and ability of working to key performance indicators and budget constraintsWillingness to learn and ability to adapt to changesAbility to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contractsAbility to achieve quality outcomes for all stakeholdersUnderstanding of Medical terminologyExperience using Meditech or similar patient administration software highly desirable

Requirements
