ASCEND - Student Experience - Expression of Interest
About Us
Caulfield Grammar School is a leading, internationally recognised, independent, co-educational school committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities from Early Learning through to Year 12. With over 3700 students across 5 campuses, we strive to deliver innovative specialist educational programs to develop a mind for life, so that learners are equipped with the mental, emotional, and academic capabilities they need for their chosen paths.
The Role
Join us in creating an unforgettable experience for our students where they get to discover their potential and embrace the beauty of learning.
We invite Outdoor Education Leaders, Teachers and Specialists to bring their passion and expertise to our 2026 Ascend Programs.
You will have the chance to do what you love in a setting that inspires creativity, collaboration, and personal growth. Whether you're leading students through nature-based activities, fostering a sense of community, or mentoring residential Trainees as they embark on their traineeship, your contributions will play a vital role in shaping our students’ experiences.
Yarra Junction Program - VIC
The Yarra Valley student experience is a vibrant base for junior and middle school students, offering progressive programs that challenge and inspire students through outdoor learning. Set in nature, outdoor activities encourage students to step beyond their comfort zones, discover their strengths, and develop a sense of responsibility for the environment.
The campus also operates as a working dairy farm, where students take part in daily milking and farm tasks. Alongside our eco cabins, new safari lodge tents, YJ offers a fresh way for students to connect with the outdoors and deepen their love for nature.
Kakadu Program – Jabiru, NT
The Kakadu Program is a hands-on learning adventure created that was developed with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and Jabiru Area School. Set in the stunning Kakadu National Park, it gives middle and senior school students the chance to step outside their everyday routines and experience something truly different. Through outdoor activities, cultural learning, and community service, students take part in extended trips across the Northern Territory—building a deeper connection to Country, to each other, and to the world around them
