Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced culinary professionals to join our team with operations in Chinchilla and Roma, QLD.
The positions are full-time, offering a competitive salary of $65-$85K per year + Super, depending on experience and the role.
This is a hands-on role, requiring candidates to:
* Ensure food preparation and quality meet the highest standards possible
* Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines
* Maintain hygiene to required standards
* Keep a clean and organized kitchen during and after service
* Assist the head chef in cost control and ensure budgeted targets are met
* Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade
To be successful for this role you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
* Appropriate trade qualifications
* Experience in fast-paced, service-focused venues
* Guest-oriented and passionate about food
* Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
* The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills and relatively good English communication skills
* Happy to work split shifts
* Possess a positive attitude and work well as part of the team
