Job Description
Assisting senior leadership and staff with people and culture matters, delivering strategic support and creating a thriving workplace that aligns people and culture initiatives with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and provide advice on employment legislation, policies and procedures.
- Deliver accurate, timely advice, coaching and support to managers and employees across all people‑and‑culture matters.
- Support the People & Culture Manager and other leaders with change initiatives, position description classification, the development of change and communication plans, and facilitation of union and employee consultation, ensuring adherence to industrial instruments.
- Lead and undertake workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and related enquiries.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, project management, workforce development, industrial/employee relations case management, and change management.
- Proven ability to interpret relevant industrial instruments such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including classifications and rates of pay.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
