As a Program Director, you will be responsible for co-designing and delivering programs of work across various research areas.
About the Role
* You will lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of the program's lifecycle, including developing and reviewing processes within assigned resources and reporting requirements;
* Oversee program governance with key stakeholders;
* Identify and manage interaction between programs of work across multiple research thematic areas;
* Maintain, implement and review the operations of programs, including day-to-day management of team members; and
* Develop and implement innovative solutions to problems and provide expert advice to stakeholders
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated strategic planning and organisational skills coupled with experience in design and delivering large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders. You will also have an understanding of research and development process including the complexities involved in supporting research.
You will possess demonstrated:
* Specialist knowledge in related disciplines of agriculture, natural capital and environment or an area of national research infrastructure;
* Capability in leading strong and high-performing multi-disciplinary teams;
* Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence; and
* Relationship management and consulting skills
