Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a multi-disciplined Engineering team that supports, and delivers transformations for, a critical large-scale on-prem Cybersecurity platform. You’ll use your technical skills to design, develop, test and support the infrastructure that forms the foundations of our vital services. This role can be based in London, Ipswich or Cheltenham. Onsite (Office-based 5 days per week). You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Clearance before starting this role and have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible.

Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of existing IT infrastructure. This could include:
- System administration tasks
- Automating repeated manual tasks
- Troubleshooting issues
- System health monitoring
- Developing monitoring solutions to identify system inefficiencies
- Patching vulnerabilities
- Hands-on involvement in the transformation/modernisation of existing infrastructure, or creation of new. This could include:
- Evaluating new technologies against requirements
- Developing proof of concepts
- Using your expertise to support the system architecture design
- Identify and contribute to the improvement of inefficient ways of working
- Actively contribute and engage in knowledge sharing activities
- Engage with and support users of the Platform
