Job Overview:
The Associate Director, Production will lead the seamless execution of production and logistics deliverables across our growing portfolio of sporting and major event experiences.
We are seeking an experienced and innovative production expert to drive flawless delivery, source high-quality production solutions, and maintain a leading edge in branding, signage, fabrication, activations, and event environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Asset & Inventory Management
o Oversee the full lifecycle of event assets and signage inventory (storage, maintenance, quality control, and stock rotation)
o Identify investment opportunities in new assets that add client value and create new revenue
* Supplier Management & Production Execution
o Lead supplier relationships from quoting and confirmation through to on-site delivery
o Collaborate with internal teams to meet creative, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
* Logistics Coordination
o Manage logistics bookings and execution across live projects
o Ensure safe, efficient, and timely transport, bump-in/out, and handling of materials and equipment
* Production Innovation & Market Awareness
o Stay up to date with local and global trends in fabrication, sustainability, and production techniques
o Apply innovation to enhance delivery and quality
* Pre-Production & Planning
o Translate creative concepts into feasible and costed production plans
o Provide logistical and technical foresight in the planning phase
* On-Site Oversight & Execution
o Manage on-site logistics, crew scheduling, WHS protocols, and install/derrig timelines
o Travel as required to support key events and builds
* Cost Management
o Develop and track detailed production budgets
o Identify cost-saving measures and opportunities to drive margin improvement
* Sustainability & ESG Practices
o Promote sustainable sourcing, reuse, and recycling of assets, and responsible production practices
