Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to lead our E7 and MQ-28 contracting teams. As a key member of the extended BDA Contracts and Finance Leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and commercial acumen. They will have experience in complex contracting, negotiation, and procurement lifecycle management, as well as excellent planning and organizational skills.
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and support to program teams on contractual and commercial issues. You will also establish and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders on contract and commercial matters.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in a related discipline (Law, Accounting or Business Management) and advanced skills in complex contracting, commercial management, negotiation and procurement lifecycle.
You will work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you will exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and executing contractual instruments on behalf of the company.
The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to lead and develop contracting specialists.
