Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Email and diary management
- Meeting and greeting clients and guests
- File maintenance and management
- Maintenance of correspondence files and briefs
- Court filing
- Handling incoming/outgoing mail
- Providing support to a team of lawyers
- Preparing Court documents & assisting with Court preparation
- Preparing and amending documents
- Preparing correspondence
- Compiling briefs
- Other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Wanting to stay long term and progress into a Lawyer position.
- Have a friendly and positive attitude
- Pride yourself on attention to detail
- Are self-motivated and possess initiative
- Have knowledge of Microsoft suite including Word and Excel and excellent typing skills
- Have excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with clients and service providers
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Smokeball or a legal practice management software
- 3CX telephone system
- 6+ months administration experience, ideally within the legal industry.
