Trust Accountant/Finance Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Trust Accountant/Finance Officer to join our team and take on a dynamic role in managing General Accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, balance sheets, and BAS/PAYG/GST reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Process creditor disbursements, weekly and monthly reporting for a rent roll of around 700 properties.
* Enter accounts payable and receivable for the Caretaking and Body Corporate departments.
* Manage payroll processing, ensuring employees meet award requirements and compliance with relevant authorities.
* Administer Client relationships and Trust Accounting tasks, including daily receipting, managing administration tasks, and processing owner and creditor payments.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in Trust Accounting and Finance/Accounting advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, good with numbers, time management, and attention to detail.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to industry standards.
* Possess a proactive attitude and be a great team player.
* Experience with property management software (e.g. Property Me, Fergus) and MYOB advantageous.
* Knowledge of relevant industry awards and regulations.
* QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate desirable but not required.
