Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
• Set and operate Centerless Grinding and Coherent Laser CNC machines.
• Ensure production meets quality specifications and maximise machine efficiency.
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product development.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety policies.
• Manage quick set-ups and change-overs to optimise machine efficiency and productivity
Essential skills and requirements:
• Possess a Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience in a busy GMP manufacturing environment
• Proven machine operating experience with troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with tight tolerances.
• Experience in managing quick set-ups and change-overs, and implementing process improvements using "lean" principles is highly regarded
