Location: Bowen Remuneration/Benefit: As per Coal EA Trainee pay rates apply About the role: Aurizon is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to begin their career as a Trainee Storeperson based at our Pring depot in Bowen. Working alongside experienced team members on a 2 year contract, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day operation of our depot store — ensuring materials and equipment are ready to keep our rollingstock running safely and efficiently. Learn and assist with routine inventory management, receiving, and dispatching stock. Help build, assemble, and supply maintenance kits and picks. Support internal and vendor stocktakes, including cycle counts. Assist with maintaining warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping standards. Learn to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided). Provide great customer service to internal stakeholders and contribute to a positive team environment. About You You’re someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in doing a job well, and values safety and teamwork. You’ll receive on-the-job training and mentoring to build your skills and knowledge in warehouse operations and materials management. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills. Good communication and attention to detail. A National C Class Driver’s Licence (or working towards obtaining one).
