A leading insurance company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Property Claims Specialist to manage property claims from start to finish.
Main Responsibilities:
* To effectively manage residential and commercial property claims, ensuring timely resolutions for our clients.
* To assess the validity of claims by reviewing policy details, coverage, and claim documentation.
* To liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, builders, and restoration contractors to facilitate efficient repairs and settlements.
* To provide regular updates and support to clients throughout the claims process.
* To negotiate liability, settlement terms, and recoveries where applicable.
* To maintain accurate records in our claims management system and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* To escalate complex or high-value claims to senior management as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in general insurance claims, preferably in property, home, or strata.
* A strong understanding of insurance policies, liability principles, and recoveries.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
