Design & Build Recruitment have partnered with a vibrant, up-and-coming architectural and engineering consultancy who provides a fully integrated architectural service from start to finish. They design and document anything from Retail, Leisure and Industrial projects.
The Position Description
* Conceptual design through the schematic design, design development, and construction documentation stages.
* Experience in managing, coordinating and motivating a design team.
* Clear communication skills, in order to effectively manage relationships and correspondence between clients and contractors.
* Self-motivation and excellent time-management skills.
* Experience with service and structural coordination.
* Experience with delivering construction services and dealing with on-site/construction related issues.
The successful candidate will have the following skills + experience:
* Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Building Design or similar.
* 5+ years' experience with Architecture, Documentation or similar.
* Must have strong proficiency with Revit and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong knowledge with ResCode, Small Lot Housing Code (SLHC), Building Regulations, and the latest National Construction Code.
* Proactive, self-starter, who can work autonomously.
