What You'll Do
Based in the Cooper Basin, our Operator Maintainers are crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment and working in close collaboration across departments to optimise production processes, improving reliability and performance across site.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and optimise performance.
* Plan and execute plant shutdowns (scheduled and emergency) with full compliance.
* Perform routine checks and apply Operator Essential Care practices to ensure reliability and integrity.
* Operate and maintain equipment, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist with procedure development and provide training and mentorship to new team members.
* Use IT systems (SAP, EHS Toolbox) effectively and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and company standards.
Required
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III/IV in Process Plant Operations or Gas Supply Industry Operations or;
* Trade Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Fitting or;
* Experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar.
Desirable
* Experience in operator/maintainer roles.
* Strong technical skills in equipment operation and maintenance.
* Knowledge of Permit to Work processes and isolations (LOTO).
* Familiarity with CMMS (SAP), engineering drawings, and MOC processes.
