We are excited to announce that our lovely team at Buderim Gardens are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed, customer focused Gardener to join them on full time basis.
At Buderim Gardens our gardens are more than just greenery—they're places of peace, joy, and connection. We're looking for someone with a natural love for plants and a warm, friendly spirit to help us care for these cherished spaces.
The successful candidates will be required to deliver garden and property maintenance, ensuring the village is properly kept for the enjoyment of the residents.
Reporting to the Village Manager, your duties will include:
- Looking after the shared garden spaces and general garden maintenance
- Mowing and whipper snipping
- Planting, watering, weeding, spraying, pruning, and clearing leaves
- Keeping tools and equipment in good shape
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- A genuine love for plants and nature
- A genuine interest in assisting the independent living seniors
- A green thumb and enthusiasm No formal gardening experience required
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
- High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
