About the role
THEE Group, a multidisciplinary service company with operations in QLD and NSW, is seeking a Program Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that THEE Group develops safe, profitable projects that build a pipeline of sustainable work. We are looking for someone with proven success in a similar role in order to enable this growth. Our operations are quickly expanding, and we need the right person in place to effectively steer our business development and project lifecycles through a disciplined approach to systems of work.
Working closely with THEE Group's senior leaders and your team, you will need to:
· Develop and maintain a business development system that leads to a sustainable pipeline of work, with a particular focus on growing NSW market share
· Lead, manage, and execute tender responses and all proposals for work (above a set threshold)
· Plan and package works that are safe, compliant, and profitable
· Initiate and engage external support to fill resource and skills gaps
· Effectively communicate works packages to the Operations Manager for implementation
· Advise CEO and senior leaders on the status and progress of future and current works
· Negotiate, monitor, and adjust contract terms over the project lifecycle with clients
You will be required to travel to project locations within Queensland and interstate.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
· Mandatory qualifications and knowledge: Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or higher level leadership qualification, Diploma in Project Management or higher level project management qualification, Cert III in Rail Infrastructure or equivalent, Cert III in Rural Operations or equivalent, Class C Drivers Licence, General Induction card (White Card), understanding of legislation applicable to the role and the team's work, understanding of Network Rules/Standards/Procedures for the Rail Infrastructure Managers (RIMS) listed below, sound knowledge of rail construction and maintenance
· Desirable qualifications and knowledge: demonstrated experience in comparable position, RIW/RSW Card, network specific inductions & competencies (Aurizon, ARTC, QR, JHR CRN), sound knowledge in network rules and procedures (Aurizon, ARTC, QR, JHR CRN), First Aid Certificate
· Mandatory skills: strong project management/bidding background; strong leadership and management skills; excellent time management skills; strong business management skills within a multi-faceted business operation; strong strategic, planning, and financial acumen; sound computer skills (Office suite, Workflow Max); strong risk management skills; ability to identify and resolve problems; ability to recognise and realise opportunities; strong communication skills
Competitive salary: range of $160K-$220K
