Property and Legal Services Officer
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented professional to provide administrative support in the Property and Legal area for activities associated with the property portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to utilise your skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
You will assist with the administration of all aspects of the property lease and licence process for Council owned and managed land and buildings, including arranging valuations, surveys, development applications and subdivision certificates. You will also develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, particularly Crown Lands.
* Understanding and ability to interpret legislation, particularly relevant provisions within the Local Government Act/Regulation and Crown Land Management Act/Regulation.
* Knowledge of local government operations and the implications of these activities on the use and management of Council owned and managed land.
* Ability to apply knowledge of Property/Real Estate systems in NSW and related legislation and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma-level qualification in a business-related field or be willing to work towards the same. A Native Title Manager qualification is also highly desirable. Three (3) years' work experience in a related field is essential.
