The Role
Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in providing environmental services across infrastructure, renewables, and other key projects. Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of environmental deliverables such as drafting planning advice, environmental impact assessments, and management plans.
* Team collaboration—coordinating technical specialists, subcontractors, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
* Client engagement—working closely with clients to meet and exceed project expectations.
* Project management—delivering projects on time and within budget, supporting business development through proposals.
Your Impact
* Providing sound environmental advice to clients and stakeholders.
* Preparing environmental impact assessments (SEEs, REFs, EISs) and management plans (CEMPs) to support planning approvals.
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing project risks, budgets, and quality assurance.
* Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and company policies.
About You
* Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in environmental planning and assessment.
* A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field.
* Excellent writing skills, particularly the ability to summarize technical information clearly.
* Working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation.
* Proven ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.
* Self-motivated with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
