About the Role
The Senior Team Leader is a key leadership position within our organization. We are seeking an experienced professional to provide strategic guidance and support to our team of Child Safety Officers.
This role involves delivering high-quality child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework, and case management. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading by example and fostering a culture of frontline service delivery, cooperation, teamwork, and high-quality people management.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing leadership and management of staff to deliver quality child protection service delivery.
* Allocating and prioritizing work tasks according to departmental policy and statutory responsibilities.
* Developing service responses to meet the identified needs of clients, including children, young people, families, carers, and communities.
* Identifying training needs and collaborating with training specialists to develop training programs.
* Developing enduring service delivery partnerships and supporting staff attendance at training and development activities.
* Fostering a culture of frontline service delivery, cooperation, teamwork, and high-quality people management.
* Actively participating in quality assurance reviews and providing authoritative advice on complex casework matters.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a child protection or social services context.
* Strong understanding of child protection principles and practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
