OverviewReference: 268263We are seeking a highly experienced Technology Architect to join our greenfield team in the energy sector.
This is a senior individual contributor role that demands both technical depth and breadth across IT and OT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, standards, and strategic direction while also engaging directly in technical work to bridge engineering and high-level technology planning.
This role requires a proven track record of delivering in high-pressure environments, the ability to collaborate effectively with small, multidisciplinary teams, and the confidence that comes from real-world experience.ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain technical standards, patterns, and reference architectures across IT and OT domains.Provide strategic technical advisory to the Design & Construct (D&C;) business on infrastructure and platform requirements for future program delivery and implementation.Contribute to technology planning and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.Offer oversight of operational platforms and infrastructure support, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate as part of a small, fast-paced start-up style team, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic outcomes.Engage across IT/OT domains, including cloud, networking, systems, and infrastructure components.Serve as a trusted advisor and technical authority for stakeholders, capable of influencing decision-making at multiple levels.Demonstrate a hands-on approach, capable of deep-diving into technical detail when required.Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience as a Technology Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Systems Architect.Broad expertise across IT infrastructure, OT environments, cloud platforms, and networking.Solid background in technical strategy, architecture, and design, with the ability to balance long-term vision and immediate delivery needs.Energy sector experience is highly desirable, especially within Public–Private Partnerships (PPP), utilities, construction, or other greenfield environments.Proven ability to interface with engineering, delivery, and business teams to translate complex technical needs into actionable plans.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to get things done (GSD) under pressure.Strong problem-solving skills, backed by hands-on technical knowledge and experience.Prior exposure to banking/insurance-only environments may not be the right fit — we're looking for candidates who have been close to infrastructure-heavy, operationally complex programs.What We OfferThe opportunity to shape and influence a greenfield technology environment.A role where your technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on ability will directly impact success.A collaborative, fast-moving start-up culture within the energy and infrastructure sector.Company BackgroundPeoplebank are expert recruiters who have been connecting IT & digital specialists with some of the most dynamic and recognised organisations in the Asia Pacific region for over 25 years.Application DetailsTo apply, please provide your CV and relevant details.
